Annual Pass Question

Hi Fellow DVCers,

During our trip last year we purchased APs for the first time. They will expire mid-May of this year. We will be there in April and plan to return in September. Do I:

A. renew my APs before I leave OR
B. will I get some sort of notification that they are up for renewal in May OR
C. should I just purchase them again when we return in September?

You can renew them when you are there in April (it has to be within 30 days of the expiration date.) You then get the renewal price, but the year begins when the old AP expires in May.

Or, you can just get a new one in September instead. The year would then start in September, but the price would be the non-renewal price, which is about $50 or so more.

I believe that you have up until 30 days after the old AP expires to renew it and get the renewal price. Again, the AP begin date would be when the old AP expired. If I remember correctly, they do send out some kind of reminder.
