Annual Pass Question

DH and I are planning a trip in November and again in the spring of 2011, so annual passes make sense. I am ready to buy them now, but don't want to waste part of it since we are not going to use until November...so my question is...

Does the pass date start the date of purchase or the first date of use?

The pass starts the date it is activated (first use). Enjoy! Don't forget, you get free theme park parking with it as well.
