Just to make this on topic...I am getting an AP to come down to the meet in September!

Okay, here's my question: I heard that they will credit the unused portion of a previous hopper ticket to your AP. How do they do this if you don't have a receipt, or can't they? And if they do it anyway, will they let you keep the "used" hopper ticket? They have cute pictures on the back and I want to keep them!

Thanks,

I know that they can credit unused portions of your tickets and put that towards your annual pass. I am not sure how they calculate it. I am not sure if they use the price you paid for the ticket or the current value - we have done this and it seems like it really works out well with the cost of the pass.

I would think they would not let you keep your old passes - I know I like the pictures too.

And another thing - when they printed out my Annual Pass it had a picture of Goofy and the cast member knew I was upset - probalby because I yelled "Its not Mickey" so somehow she put it back thru the system and printed my card so that my cute little picture would be Mickey.

She probably was shaking her head after I left and thinking "another one of those people."

Good luck and look forward to seeing you in WDW.

Darlene,

That is too funny!! I'll bet they hear it all the time though! I'll try to remember to ask for a character of choice when I get mine!!

Sharon,
What I was told on another board is that they take your ticket and check what you paid for it. then they divide it by how many days it has is for and then multiply it by the number of days left. And then they credit you for that amount. But it might be better for you to save the ticket and let the family use it when you go to WDw the next time.
When I was at WDW in July I was thinking of getting PI and the water parks added to my ticket because my kids wanted to go to PI . My ticket expires on Aug 14th. They told me it would cost over $50 to add these features. I knew that I was not going to get back to WDW again until after the AP expires and $50 seemed like alot for only one night at PI.
then I asked them what they would credit my present AP for toward a Premium AP. It was July 2 and I had all of July and 1/2 of Aug left on that AP. They said they would credit me with $4.59. I have no idea how they come up with that amount, but I paid over $350 for the AP, so it would seem to me that the breakdown would be about $1.00 per day. That is not what I was quoted as tradeoff is it? Peggie
