Annual Pass Question

I’m sure someone knows the answer to this one. We have annual passes that expire on March 1, however we will not be at Disney until March 4th. We will be in Florida just not at Disney and don’t want to blow a day traveling there. Can we still get a renewal on our passes if we do it on March 4th or would we have to buy new passes. We could do it on line but would rather wait until we get there. Can someone please explain to me what I am hearing about 18 for the price of 12 month passes? We are DVC members and do they get the 18 months as well? Of course we will do what gives us a better deal.

It is my understanding that you have 30 days to renew your annual pass from the expiration date. It is also my understanding that it is 15 months for the price of 12 not 18.

I thought the renewal for 15 for 12 was only for Florida residents?

The 15 months for 12 is for FL residants and renewals (everyone).

I just wanted to chime in and make sure the you knew that no matter when you renew (30 before to 30 days after your current pass is up) your new expiration date will still be the same date you have on this pass, just 15 months added...in other words, your new AP will expire on June 4, 2011, no matter when you renew. Did that make sense?

Our passes are up on March 6th...wishing I could talk DH into renewing, but not having any luck!
