Annual pass question

We are going in July and are planning on getting 4 day park hopper passes (one of the days is a Sat blackout date) our last day will be Sunday, can we upgrade on Sun (so we can still go on Saturday) and then only pay $75 to upgrade or can you only count the unused portion of your ticket towards the annual pass? Also, is the annual pass good at California Adventure as well?

YES and YES. I do that when I know I am going to purchase a Deluxe AP. But do remember to upgrade Sunday.

You get full credit no matter when you upgrade.

That's what we did. AP year starts the first day of your original park hopper pass.

You could even upgrade on Saturday (even though it's a blockout date), and get 2 days of discounts on food.

I would upgrade on the Saturday (providing that Sunday is not blockout). Your first day is totally allowed to be on a blockout day. Have fun!
