Annual Pass question - what do you do with your pass when you are in the park?

Do you keep it in a pocket at the end of your lanyard? If so, where do you get the pocket? I've only been able to find lanyards with medallions or cards at the end.

Thanks!

I'm keeper of the APs since DH lost them twice! I put them in a little pocket in my fanny pack, along with room keys, DL, and other stuff.

My DH likes to keep them ALL in his pocket as well. He doesn't trust me not to lose them, although I did get to hold them for 5 minutes while I got fastpasses recently. It's pretty funny.... :) He's not a control freak about most things, but AP's and car keys--that's another story. I keep reminding him that even if I DID lose them (which I haven't), Disney would just replace them.

I think you can buy those plastic sleeves at someplace like Walmart and attach them to the lanyards.

I have a neck wallet which is the only thing I carry in the parks. I bought mine at office depot for $5. It is nylon and has 3 compartments. It holds a LOT of stuff in a nice secure little place. I like having it around my neck as opposed to in my pocket :)

I have used the Passporter Pouch the last few times we have gone to WDW. I love it. You might find something like it a bit cheaper, but this one is specifically for WDW. I really like being able to see the fastpasses in the clear window, so I can check the time without taking them out.

I keep our annual passes, fastpasses, Disney Dining Card, credit card, Pen for autographs, Photopass, etc in its numerous sections.

I bought an assortment of plastic make-up bags at Wal Mart. One of the bags is perfect to hang on a lanyard. It is flat, but a bit larger than the usual "wallet insert" things. I can put my cell phone in it along with my pass, ID, cash, a couple tylenols. The best thing - security doesn't consider it a "bag" (as opposed to my old fanny pack) so you don't have to go thru the search lines!

I usually use a fanny pack and keep the whole families passes in there. But I'm going to try out a neck wallet this year. Hopefully I can fit my camera in it also. wonder if security will check it out. Probably.

I have a travel bag that I carry around. It's very lightweight and compact. Doesn't hold much - cell phone, passes, ID's, some chapstick, tylenol, maybe a camera. But, it keeps everything together and it's small enough that it doesn't bother me to carry it around all day. The strap goes across my chest like a messenger bag's would.

I have one of those hard plastic holders from blizzard beach that i put around my neck. it is the perfect size for my AP, room key (card), license, safe key and 2 20$ for emergency cash. That is all I need and I am good to go!

$.97 cents at WalMart, with an outer pocket for your FP. They are near the keychains/wallets in the store.

I replaced the cord that came with it with a bright shoelace, so we can each identify them by color. I find that having it in a clear sleeve lanyard around my neck means I never worry about leaving it in a FP machine.

My daugher's and mine are in my waistpack and my son and DH's are in his waistpack.:)
Now...I just hope he knows where their's are!

I have a fanny pack which has two zipper pouches, a small one attached to the front of the fanny pack. The small one is perfect for keeping passes and room keys handy. The fanny pack holds camera and other stuff. I do not like to carry much extra stuff with me in the parks. I unzip all of it so security can check all of it easily without holding up the line. I think I got it at WalMart a couple of years ago. They usually have a selection of different types of fanny pack/back pack/purse type stuff.

I keep mine in an id holder from a military base, and that goes into a hidden pocket inside my fanny pack. My BF keeps his in his wallet. He gives me his wallet though when we go on splash mountain and kali river rapids ride. ::yes::
