ETA: I called guest services and they said the concert is considered a special event since it is part of grad night. The seasonal pass is not blocked out that day.
I am looking at getting an AP to save quite a bit of money on my room rate for my trip. We will be at the parks for 3 days and the Seasonal pass cost is comparative to a 3 day park to park ticket.
I see for a Seasonal AP Pass that the following are blackout days:
Blockout Dates (apply to both Universal Studios Florida™ and Islands of Adventure™):
December 21, 2016 – January 3, 2017
April 8, 2017 - April 22, 2017
June 10, 2017 - August 13, 2017
December 21, 2017 - December 31, 2017
Any concert date (If there is a concert during a non-blockout date, Seasonal Passholders will only receive access to Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, but not Universal Studios Florida™)
I have a question about concert dates. Our last day at the parks is April 7th which is a "grad bash" night which means there is a concert for the attendees that night. However, the general public cannot go to this concert, it is only for the grads and the park closes at 5 to the general public. Does the "any concert date" apply to this day since it isn't a concert a passholder could go to anyways? Or is it considered a special event and the passholder can still have acces to both parks that day until 5 when the park closes?
Anyone have any experience with this scenario?
