I have purchased the So. Cal. Select Pass online and am wondering if I will have to show proof of residency once I arrive at the park. If anyone has any recent experience please let me know. I still have a non-california drivers license.

When I got my pass, I had to show ID. So since yours is a non CA ID, I'd guess you'd need to bring some other proof of residency. If all else fails, call Disney ticketing and they'll have the correct answer for you. Congrats on your new AP.

They used to take electric bills or phone bills with your name on them, but I would definitely call to make sure before you go.

Yes, you must prove proof of residency or they will not let you activate your So Cal AP.

I just did this last month. They must have a drivers license. I still had an out of state license as well, so I was told to bring utility bills or a bank statement with my new address and or a bank statement with my new address. I had no problems picking up my pass with my Utah license and my power and water bills with my new address on them. Welcome to Southern California!

You can always run down to your local DMV and quickly apply for your CA license. Make an appt. It's low hassle...if you have a valid out-of-state license you only have to take the written test. And don't worry if you forget to bring a utility bill, etc....the DMV doesn't ask for it. Just make sure you get your new address correct when you write it on the form, because that's where they'll send your new license. :thumbsup2

Disneyland accepts the paper printout that the DMV gives you when you activate your pass. Just explain that you just moved and haven't received your hard license yet.

My best friend had to do exactly that just a few months ago when they moved back after a few years out of state and wanted to quickly get in a few visits with their passes before her husband had to start his new job in SoCal, because he wasn't going to be able to go along with her and the kids very often after that.

When I got my AP last April, I was new to Socal and didn't have my ID yet (was in the mail). They allowed me to get the socal one because my debit card that I used for payment had a local zip code since I had already changed that.

I was able to get a Socal pass in the spring for my wife by bringing in a bank statement and our car insurance statement as well as my out of state ID. As long as you do that you'll be fine. :thumbsup2
