Is there any word on when and how much the next price increase for annual passes will be? Trying to decide when to purchase them.

Nobody knows.
There is no advance announcement of when the ticket prices will go up.
This year it was in February.
They could go up at any time, however.
There is also no set amount for an increase in price.

The 2016 UG refers to a rumor that Disney may hike them yet again this year. If they had planned to do that, though, I would think they took it off the table with the recent devaluation in China. That said, you never know. Disney did well through the last economic downturn- and they march to the beat of their own drum- so they are going to do whatever they feel like doing when they feel like doing it. After I read that rumor in the UG, I bought mine, as it doesn't get activated until you use it anyways- and even though a lot of predictions wind up not coming to pass- a lot of them do, so I hedged my bets so to speak.

I'd just Purchase based on when you need them to maximise their usage.

If you are going to renew every year, it makes no difference as the price increase will always catchup with you eventually.
