Annual pass prices

Can anyone tell me if the block-out dates for the annual passes listed in the Mickey Monitor apply to a DVC annual pass? We planned a trip this summer due to the annual passholders room rate but those room rates are offered the same time the block out dates are for the annual passes. Does this mean my room is discounted but I have no park tickets as my annual pass is not good for my travel dates? I am confused and don't normally travel to Disney in June but my husband was attending a conference a few hours away so we were going to drive down after the conference. How can they call it an annual pass if they have prevented people from using it for 2 months?

No worries, pafer. Annual Passes don't have black out dates. Seasonal Passes (for Florida residents) have some restrictions, but AP's are good every day. :thumbsup2

Huh??? Where did you see that annual passes have blackout dates?? That doesn't sound right:confused3

I thought I saw it in the Mickey Monitor but now that I have looked again it does say seasonal black out days. Now I can stop stressing and look forward to my quick trip this summer.

Has anyone heard if they are going to offer the additional 3 months to AP holders who renew? This was in place last year. I was wondering if they are still offering this, and, since we receive the DVC AP discount, are we even eligible? TIA

We just got a postcard since our renewal is in June. It states we get three extra months if we renew. I have a DVC annual pass, so we get the DVC discount and the extra three months! But I did read somewhere this was through August so not sure when your AP expires. HTH
