We have annual passes. In Feb, when we stayed off-site, we bought into DVC. When we stay at Kidani in June will be be able to take advantage of early and late park hours? Thanks

Hey Amyy!!

Welcome Home!!!!!!

Yes, because you are staying at a Disney Resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours. It has nothing to do with Annual Passes.

Enjoy.

Thanks! I am so happy we finally bought into DVC.

At check in will we show them our annual pass and they will "add" this info to our room card at check in? We would use that room card to get into the park?

You can't add an AP to the KTTW. You'll have to keep it separate.

AP doesn't give you the resort perks like EMH. That is a perk of being a resort guest.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but your "room card" is not your Park Ticket. The current card you have is the one you'll use for park entrance.

If you have a regular ticket, such as a 10 day park hopper, you can add that to your KTTK. That way your KTTK will open your room door and it will get you into the parks.

If you have an annual pass, you can't add it to your KTTK. You will have to carry 2 cards with you, one for your room, and one for getting into the parks.

If you are planning to use extended park hours, don't forget your KTTK since it identifies you as staying at a Disney resort.

Your KTTW is your room key and you can have your park admission tickets added to the KTTW. If you purchase the dining plan, everyone in your party will have the dining plan credits included on the KTTW.

However, you cannot put an AP or PAP on a KTTW. They must remain separate. Probably because of the expiration date and name preprinted on the pass.

So, your room card may be your park ticket if you have your tickets placed on the room card. I'm not sure what you mean by "current card".

There have been reports that some resorts can sell APs now and be part of the key, but I sure do not want to be the one to try it sound like a disaster in the making.

I read the same thing but I don't think I want my AP to look like a KTTW card. Knowing me, I would toss it by mistake!!!!

Thanks for clarifying. I knew when I responded that I wasn't wording things correctly (didn't have my coffee yet). That's why I said "please correct me".

By current card I meant AP. I was really only referring to an Annual Pass since that's what the OP referenced.
