This year the lifted the blackout on USF early. The blackout dates went through the middle of August like 2015 does. But, the dropped the August dates in late July.

The blackout dates for Universal Orlando have gone through several iterations over the years. There was a time when it was just 4th of July week at both parks. I seem to remember a blackout on weekends at both parks as well in the summer one year. There were also a few years when the Easter blackout ended at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Do you know how much is discounted for renewing?

I have 1 preferred and 3 power passes, am thinking of renewing them all to preferred. Is that possible with the discount?

I just renewed and upgraded my dd's power pass to preferred this morning and they only charged me the price to renew a preferred $170.39. Now I don't have to worry about the black out dates.
