She wants to put that AP on her acct so she can book her and her BF's resort ressie for Jan. so she can get the AP discount on the room. What is the best way to do this?? Should I book their reservation or can her AP NOT be in my acct. and in hers?? Or will she need to call and make her reservation? However what happens to making their fast pass + reservations if she can't link her AP into her own MME acct. ?? TIA!!!!

As long as there IS an AP, it can be used as "ID" when checking in to an AP discounted room.

No need for it to be in anyone's particular account.

You do not actually NEED and AP to BOOK an AP discounted room.
If the resort wants to SEE an AP when you check in, just show the AP card at that time.

Okay that makes sense but how does she even set up the MDE account to book fast passes. She tried to do that and it said her AP was linked to another account.

If it is linked to YOUR account, you could just give her your password and she can make any changes and additions she wants.

(After the upcoming trip, you COULD change your password to reclaim your autonomy.
The AP will expire within the year.)

Okay well NOW they have decided to just rent points thru Dave's. LOL However when it's time for them to do the Fast passes I guess she will have to do just that.
