Annual pass memory maker question

When we purchased our annual passes on our last trip, DD was not old enough to need one and we purchased our APs before they automatically came with memory maker. For our summer trip DD will need an AP and we plan on buying a gold annual pass for her (our passes don't expire until just after our trip). Since APs come with memory maker now, how can the rest of our family use the MM associated with her AP? DD is a bit timid when it comes to rides and won't be joining us on rides like Space Mountain or Tower of Terror but how do we get those ride pics/videos?

There are 11 of us going and my sister is convinced she won't be vacationing in Disney now that her boys are 'too old' for Disney (they will be 9 & 7 lol). We definitely want to get lots of pictures since this may be the last big trip we all take together. Do we have to buy MM in addition to the one on DD's annual pass to cover everyone??

Have someone wear/carry her MagicBand on all of the attractions with photos.

Can we bring one of her extra magic bands we will receive from this trip (we have a split stay) or does it have to be the one scanned at the gate that day?

Link everyone to her account as a family and friend and click to share everything. Doing this, everyone's photos will pop up in her MDE app under the photopass button. Everyone who is linked to each other's friends and family will be able to see each other's photos regardless if they were on the same ride or even at Disney at all. However only the new AP holder will have the option to download the photos for free. Everyone else will see them but the photos will have watermarks and it'll ask you if you want to purchase.

When we purchased our APs in December we were told very specifically that linking friends to the account won't allow them to see the pictures. Only linked family that have an AP would be able to see the pictures. We haven't had any reason to test this out, but we were told that was the specific difference between AP MM & PP.

Sounds like a misinformed CM. every time we go, as long as everyone is linked by family and friends, everyone can see each other's photos. And there's really no difference at all between AP photopass and memory maker (aside from the MM individual cost)

Would it be the same for Memory Maker purchased separately from an Annual Pass? My Dad, sister and I are going on a trip in 2 weeks and are most likely going to purchase Memory Maker. We are all friends/family on MDE so we can always see each other's photos, but would only the person who actually purchases the Memory Maker and links it to their account be able to download the photos after the trip? And if so, would the person who can download them at least be able to easily share them with others (i.e. sending them through e-mail for example?)

1. Yep.

2. Yep. The person who owns the pictures can basically do whatever they want with them.

If I go on multiple trips with different people, and link everyone as friends and family, will they be able to see all of the photos in my account, or just the ones where we were on the trip together?

I have a related question about Friends and Family. If you have someone linked as a Friend/Family and that person manages the accounts of their family, do photos that are scanned to the magic bands of accounts that they manage show up in my photos if they share everything with me?

That was probably a confusing question, so let me give an example. I have a Gold AP. My brother is on my "Friends and Family" list and shares everything with me. He has a wife and three children (under 18) that he manages. He is the only one with an account. If one of his children gets a photo without him there, will I see that photo?

I think that I am only seeing the photos when the person that manages the accounts taps the band, but I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure?

I can see the photos of people on my friends and family list, even the ones on trips where I was not with them.

All friends/family see all the photos. Doesn't matter if they're at Disney with you or not
