Sorry, but AP'ers are not immune to finger scan problems. I got an AP for my 16 day trip in December, and I got denied EVERY time I tried to get in, and it's not because I didn't know how it worked. My scan kept having to be reset. One CM told me my finger was "too small". Don't know if that was really the issue, but all I know is that the machine clearly did not like my finger. We're considering another trip in October, and I'll bet I'm gonna have the same problems!

but don't you have to do finger scans as well? It's not stupidity that keeps the thing from scanning, often it is mechanical error or in my case pregnancy! no kidding, the bio metrics is thrown off I was told and sure enough, next time I used up a day off an old non expiry and was no longer pregnant, it worked fine! Never did work once the entire trip I was expecting! Is that nuts or what? So, may be a nice annual pass holder perk but please don't think us lowly 10 day pass holders aren't doing something right!

Wow Forget the pregnancy tests, just go to Disney and see if your biometric scan works!

I had a Six Flags NE annual pass a few years back and the "FREE tickets for friends" was two coupons to bring a friend on two specific days only (believe they were Saturdays) and those days were always packed to the brim. The Passholder book of discounts didn't have things most people would use either, I remember coupons for using the arcades and games etc.

The one good thing was you could use it to visit any Six Flags parks, but they are so far apart you might get to use it at two.

I heard that if a CM comes up with an idea, even if discussing it in the breakroom casually with other CMs, it becomes "property" of Disney. So, maybe the letter was pretty much telling your friend . . . If we use your idea, you don't get any credit or monetary compensation.

Getting totally OT now, but it was 3M, not IBM, and the story behind it was a little more complicated. The adhesive was developed on company time so it was already owned by 3M. 3M couldn't come up with a use for it, but another 3M employee came up with an idea and developed it (the company had a program that allowed employees to spend time working on their own ideas, but 3M would have first rights to them - not uncommon) to apply the adhesive to paper to create a single product.

It's like being stuck in traffic and the line of cars in front of you isn't moving and you don't know why - and someone says, "There had better be a terrible accident up there!" Meaning, if this isn't life or death I am gonna be so pissed that this is taking so long.

I think that when someone is having trouble getting into the park people behind them get angry and impatient and think, "What the heck are they doing up there???? Can't anyone do anything right????!!!! And they don't stop to consider that it isn't the person's fault.

I see so many people "doing it right" and having problems anyway. I hate those scanners!
