Last august 2016, we,(2 adults, 2 kids) upgraded our 7 day park hoppers to the dvc gold passes. Then we took an adults only trip in april and the wife and I had to upgrade to dvc platinum. With the special dvc discount on the platinum plus, we upgraded all 4 passes this August 2017. We knew it was only for 10 days, but it was free so we figured it was a chance for the kids to check out the water parks. All 4 passes should have expired at the end of august. The kids passes did, but mine and my wife's now say they don't expire until April. Has this ever happened to anybody before? Is it just an online fluke, and it is actually expired? I wouldn't mind doing another adults weekend, but I don't want to go down there and get a blue mickey.

Yes. Last fall I renewed my AP while I was visiting in September (it was expiring in October). Had I waited until October, I would have gotten the "13 months" AP. So, when I was visiting again in December I went to guest services to see if they could do anything about it. All that I wanted was to have the new pass expire at the beginning of November instead of October because we planned to go to F&W during October of this year. If it wasn't possible, no big deal. The CM was more than happy to extend the expiration date and she redid my AP. The new expiration date is now Jan. 3, 2018 - 13 months from the first day that I visited in December! It's nice little extra but I won't be visiting again after our October trip, so the extra months won't be used.

There are many errors that are simply glitches in the MDE display of dates and tickets and they can often just correct themselves over time.

However, there are also many real errors made by CMs who make mistakes when setting up AP anniversary (expiration) dates.
Those dates must be directly put in manually by the CM, and many times the CM will mistakenly enter the wrong date(s.)
These errors can be corrected, if need be.
