I am hoping someone could help me figure out if this is correct or not before I go ahead and call Disney. A month or so ago I was able to get two Pirate APs for my BF and me before they stopped selling (so thankful we didn’t wait). We chose the monthly option and paid down the deposit.

I know the pass doesn’t begin until it’s activated the first time at the park, but do the monthly payments still begin before then? We were charged a payment this month and I wanted to make sure our cards didn’t somehow activate when we haven’t been in the world for over two years any help is appreciated

2. Correct.
3. As you mentioned, APs do not "activate" until YOU do so, in-person, showing a legal photo ID and then entering a park.
