My question, if I arrive at the hotel with an Annual Pass, but my hotel is already paid for, will I be able to receive a discount still?
This is horrible planning, but I have recently uncovered the perks of being an annual pass holder after paying for my stay May 30 through June 4. If nothing can be done I won't lose any sleep over it, and I certainly will be better prepared when I go back for MNSSHP this fall...but who knows, a 100 bucks is a 100 bucks, right?? Any knowledge/experiences on how this can be done would be greatly appreciated.

If you mean, will you get the discount off a fully paid reservation at registration -- no way. Do you have a package? If not and you booked through cro, you can cancel your current reservation, get a refund and book a new reservation. Make sure to book the new one before cancelling, though.

You definitely need to call right now and tell them you are getting an AP and ask if you can get the passholder rate. They may be able to transfer your balance to your new reservation (or if you have a room-only with CRO, maybe it won't be a new reservation.) Worst case, they will send you a refund and you will need to send in a new deposit/payment. Well, worst case, all the AP rates will be gone, but assuming you can still get it.

Yes, absolutely....call now.
Ask for the AP discount for your dates. Even if not all the dates have availability with the discount, ask them day by day.
The "official" Memorial Day week end is the previous weekend and some people come for the weekend and stay the week. So that means alot will be leaving just as you are coming in.
So ask them to play with the dates to get the discount.
Then just as stated above....they can transfer your money from one ressie to the new one. But they can help you with that.
Good Luck!
;)

You should call now. There are only a limited number of AP discounted rooms. :) Good luck.

I have changed package codes up to 1 week prior to going, but you must do it with central reservations. What happens is, say you save $100, then you basically have a $100 credit on your room account. You can then use your room key as a charge card all over the resort and the $100 will go towards that balance on a daily basis. You do need to guarantee the room charge with a credit card, but you can get an daily balance from guest services over the phone from your room. This is actually very easy!

Enjoy your trip:D :D :D :D
