If you are not a Florida resident and also not a DVC member, is there any way that you can get a discount on annual passes? I know that undercover tourist does discounts on tickets, but I didn't see anything about annual passes. Maybe I'm missing it, or maybe there are no discounts. Please help.

Thanks.

They do not generally discount APs. They have on occassion discounted RENEWING them (I recently got a code for $30 off the price plus an additional 3 months). Also, last summer they had a program that current AP holders were sent discount cards to hand out to friends/family. That card entitled folks to a discount on a new AP purchase. However, that was only good for a few weeks and there is no information to suggest that they are repeating the program this year.

So if there are no discounts typically, is it at least true that if you do the give one day get one day, that you can use that towards an AP. There by getting the $74, or whatever it is for one day, off of your AP.

Thanks.

Yup :thumbsup2

It's $84 and some change off the cost of an AP purchase. Not a bad deal!

There is also the loophole method of getting a discount. It works like this:

1. Buy discounted MYW tix through Undercover Tourist, AAA, or somewhere else that's reputable.

2. Use the tix at least one day before upgrading.

3. Within 14 days of that first use, upgrade the MYW tix to APs at a Guest Relations center. Disney will "bridge" the tickets so that they consider them the non-discounted gate price tickets when giving you credit towards your APs. Thus, any discount you got on the MYW tickets will carry over to the APs.

If you happen to be active duty military, retired military, or former military, you can get a slightly discounted AP from SOG.

Former military w/ less than 20 yrs can only take adv of this in Jan and Sep, and must show DD214 as proof of service.

I've heard of people doing the MYW upgrade... but your better bet is just doing the give a day ticket upgrade. Nothing beats 84$ off.
