Annual Pass discount question

Hi. My husband and I purchased the Incredi-pass annual passes but won't activate them until August. If I happened to be in Disney Springs prior to August when we activate the AP, can I use the AP discount at any eligible table service restaurants or shopping for merch too, by showing my pass in my MDE account? Or will that not work?

We are newbies in the AP world.

You need an active AP. What you have until you activate are vouchers. They’ll let you book AP resort discounts with a voucher but you still need to present the actual AP upon check in.

Sorry, that will not work. You need an activated AP to get the discount at any eligible table service restaurants or shopping for merch.

Until you activate you do not have an Annual Pass. You only have a voucher that can be turned in to an AP. No discounts or perks until active.

FROM DISNEY WEBSITE :
For you to take advantage of the many perks and discounts available to Annual Passholders, your annual pass would need to be activated. I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that you can book a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel with an annual pass discount (if available and applicable) over the phone. However, when you check in, you'd have to show your activated annual pass. If your pass is not activated at the time of check-in, you would be charged the full price for the room. So if you were not planning on activating your annual pass for your trip in August, you would not be able to take advantage of any annual pass discounts at that time.
