Hi,
I am not sure if this has been answered.. Been looking around but cant seem to find the answer I'm looking for. So we will be at Universal the 3rd week of Aug. I was thinking of doing meal deals for all but in reading here I get the impression its not worth it. So I look up the menu's on all ears and came up with a ball park price for our meals at $82. Now the meal deal bracelet for one park is $21 each so its kinda a wash, Unless.. Ah finally my question does the Annual pass I bought for me get me a 10% discount on all food service in Universal? If true then our meals would be less than the meal deal. Unless I can also get an APH discount on the meal deal bracelets? Also we still have our meal deal cups ( they are blue) from 2 years ago, can we still use them this year ( if we go meal deal). Thanks for your time!!!

HI!

You can't use the AP discount for the meal deal but you do get 10% off all counter service and full service food.

The same blue cups are used for the meal deal even if you decided not to get the meal deal you still can pay $0.79 for a refill.

We did the meal deal one day when we went the first week of July in Universal only. We enjoy Louise's and Mel's Drive In. My teenage boys could go back for seconds. Then went back for more pizza and chilli cheese fries.

The lines for food at these places were not long which helped us to decide to do it. If it is crowded then you can spend a lot of time in line getting 2nd or 3rds.

Be warned that the kids meals are very limited and I heard some upset parents that their kids had to eat the same stuff.

IOA: Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza, Macaroni & Cheese Nuggets, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Spaghetti & Meatball (available at participating locations), Cheeseburgers, and Chicken Fingers

US: Macaroni & Cheese Nuggets, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Spaghetti & Meatball

Cool, I have 2 teenage DD's and my older one can eat!!! Im glad about the cups for we drink beverages like they are going out of style! We did the meal deal 2 years ago and there seemed that there were more places, did they pair this down? Maybe I just do meal deal for my DD?

The Meal Deal is limited.IMO if you eat alot its worth it,if not then not.

Alot of people are surprised at how cheap UO is to eat at,and not just the CS servise, but TS also.
A family of 4 can get a GREAT meal at Margaritaville at CW with drinks and all for under $80.Maybe less, depending on what you order, plus add the AP discount to that.

There are a couple of TS locaitons that do not accept the AP discount, mainly we have found this at the hotels. I don't know about the other resorts but at RPH only the main resturant, Islands, will accept the discount. At City Walk we have never had the discount turned down :) They were even nice enough to split the check into 2 and give the discount on both since we had about 12 ppl at one dinner and your AP is only good for up to 6.
