Is there a good discount when you have an annual pass? Since AP's are $229, I am wondering how to calculate its worth

Well, I decided to call directly and ask for the rates (so I am answering my own question )
Best deal I could find before I called was 289+tax/night
Annual pass rate is 189+tax/night garden view or 174 for obstructed view
We are only going for 2 nights before heading to disney. So, by purchasing an annual pass for $229, Instead of $145 for a three day, will cost an extra 84 dollars, but save 200 dollars off the room.
Sounds like a good deal to me. Am I missing something?

Just wondering...Which hotel was this rate for? And what dates? I am trying to figure the same thing out!

Yup, sounds good to me too. And it will give you 10% off many other things. Remember that renewals are cheaper too.

Don't forget to use your AP for 10% discounts all through the parks - we always try and remember - it's fun to see how much you saved at the end of the day.

My brother and his family all wear the lanyards - so they don't forget to use their passes for discounts. I normally keep my AP on top of my credit card, so I always remember to use it.

Have a nice trip! ;)

I didn't get such a big AP discount for October - only 10% off, which doesn't make economic sense for just 2 nights at HRH, standard view. Maybe I should keep calling?
