I am considering of getting annual pass for this upcoming trip to Orlando. We also plan to go to Disneyland in 2007. Can I use the pass from Orlando to Disneyland? I apologize if this question has been asked before.
No, you can't use the WDW annual pass at Disneyland. I don't even think there's a cross-park discount, which is too bad. We're going the opposite direction (we have Disneyland APs), and it would be great if being Disneyland passholders gave us a discount on tickets and packages at WDW!
I think the parks are run separately, for the most part. The "rules" for getting and using APs are different, the passes are different (not just how they look, but how they're made and used), etc.
It would be so nice if they had a pass that worked for both. I have been an AP holder for both parks the last year (WDW lapsed now), and I would have loved not having to buy both, but alas that is not the case. I would even pay a premium to get a pass for both coasts, but there is none available.
