Hi everyone, I am about to book a pre-christmas break and wanted to get clarification about annual pass blackout dates and onsite hotels.I have a fantasy pass with 2 blackout days the period I want to travel but I am planning on staying in Sequoia Lodge with rest of my family on a package deal -cheaper this way with free nights offers. I have read I can still enter parks on blackout days if I am onsite and have an easypass from the hotel?I cannot find recent info on this however and would not want to find myself locked out for half the trip!I rang Disney but they did not seem to have a proper answer! Thanks in advane for your time and help:)

yes, its no problem at all if you are staying at an onsite hotel - blockout dates do not apply if you are staying onsite :).

Oh I didn't know that.

We're planning on staying onsite too when there's a blackout day during our trip. It won't be a package deal but as DVC members. Do you know whether we will still be able to enter the parks on our blackout day? We have a Fantasy pass.

Thanks :)

It doesn't matter who you have booked your onsite DLP hotel with, as long as you are staying onsite then any AP blackout date doesn't apply to you :).

Thanks for that. That's great news :thumbsup2

So I guess you have to show the hotel easypass at the entrance to the park along with your AP?
