I just received my first Annual Pass. Yay! I was wondering if you all could tell me some benefits you get with it besides the on site hotels. Thanks in advance!

I've looked that over but was wondering where people use them at and for what? Maybe some of their favorites. Do you get a discount at the City Walk restaurants?
You can use them at any store/restaurants inside either park and receive a discount. You can also use an AP at CityWalk for discounts at most stores and restaurants there too. If you have an AP, you are eligible for discounts on special events such as Halloween Horror Nights and Rock The Universe.

Basically...the two main benefits are: free parking and discounts on food, hotels and merchandise.

Awesome! Thanks!

I'm wondering something about the APs. If I buy one Preferred Pass and three Power Passes, would there be any problem with that plan? I was thinking that I would use my Preferred Pass to park and I'm usually the one to buy the food anyway. We wouldn't be going during any of the blackout dates anyway.
Thanks!

many families do that.

you only need one preferred pass for the discounts.

power pass has no added perks.

Sounds like a grand plan to me! :thumbsup2

That is exactly my plan, and I've ran it through this board before and got the stamp of approval.

Just wondering how much is the restaurant discount (10%?) and is it the same at all restaurants inside the parks and on Citywalk?

It's usually 10% at all establishments. Not all restaurants at CityWalk offer discounts but you should show the AP when you order. The worst thing they can say is no.

The beverage carts (within the parks and CityWalk) do not offer the discount.

Is the free parking at the parks only, or does it take care of the hotel self-parking charge as well? Also, what does it mean "After first visit" for free parking (more relevant if hotel parking is free)?

parking in the garage is $15. free for AP holders once they have activated their AP.
you must have your AP to show the TM at the parking garage to get in free.
if you have a voucher only, it must be activated before you receive the actual ap card.
your next visit to the garage would be free then.

hotel parking is not free.
parking at the hotels if you are a guest is $18.
if you are a day visitor at the hotel, parking is $20 for that day.
