annual pass and sponsorship questions.

HI all,

I did post this question on the annual pass thread but I didn't get any replies unforutnetly.

I am due to go to dlp at the end of the month for three nights and I have a few questions about AP renewal.

I purchased my dream AP in June of 2015 thanks to a very helpful member on here. I'm looking ahead to June of this year and renewal of our passes. So my questions are:
1) will my bf have to be with me to renew his or can I do that for him.
2) have I read somewhere about 6 months free, how do I get this.
3) If I get my three sponsorship in January when I go how can i renew it in June if I don't go.
4) If I want to sponsor three people can I do this all at once with three people or do they have to be like separate groups - hope that makes sense!!
5) what is the process for sponsorship, what exactly do I need to do.

1) Yes if you are renewing on site - But you can renew also by post

2) When you renew your AP by purchasing a new one you get 6 months free added on - you have to renew it in the month before it runs out though either in person or by the post.

If you are planning on getting a free AP by having sponsored 3 people you can't also get the extra 6 months. It's either a free AP for 12 months or a bought AP for 18 months.

The Annual Passport will be returned to you by mail ( no shipping fee. 4) You can sponsor 3 people at once, a two people and then one person on their own it doesn't matter. What matters is that you sponsor at least 3 people in the same 6 month period - Right now it's Nov-April to get your fee AP

5) The people who you sponsor can't have held an AP for at least 2 years, they can be of any age over 3 years old and they have to be with you at the AP office. Don't forget to remind them that they all need their passports or id cards even the children

You either meet them outside or inside the park - Then you can either go the the ticket booths before entering the park tell them that you are sponsoring the people and they buy a day ticket with 10% off or they have already bought tickets and they'll get the 10% off at the AP office instead

You then go to the AP office - there you will fill out the sponsor form and the CM will take the peoples details, photos, get them to sign the contract and they will pay the difference between what they have already paid and the price of an AP with 10% off.

They then get their AP, you get your form with a stamp on it for each person you've sponsored and that's it You then keep that form and once you've got 3 stamps on it can send it off by post in May and will get a free AP back

thanks so much for your reply. ok a few more questions and your opinion!!

1) with regards to the sponsoring someone within a six month period and with the current phase being nov-april, where does that leave me if my pass is up in june but i don't plan on going back then ( mainly cos the flights are sooooo expensive). Should I get my three signitures in jan and just renew then or get my 3 signitures and post in march. you mentioned that I should post in may but how does that work if the current 6 month period is nov-april.
2) I can't sponsor someone who already has a pass or had one in the last 2 years lol and yes I will make sure htey have ID. What kind of people turn up without ID tut tut!!!
3) can i get a sponsorship form their as i've lost mine!!
