Annual Pass and Photo Pass/Memory Maker

I'm pretty confused. Contemplating getting an annual pass as we may be taking a second trip to WDW early next year (!!! ) One of the benefits is "photo pass downloads"...is this the same as the Memory Maker package??? If so, taking into account the cost of TWO memory maker packages (one for each trip) as well as the free parking, makes a good argument for getting the annual pass. Does anyone know if there's a difference?

As near as I can tell, the only difference is that each photo remains available for download for a year after it's taken rather than disappearing after 45 days. In other words, an AP is better than MM, IMHO.

I was thinking the same thing...just wanted it confirmed. Love your profile pic by the way!

There's no difference other than you get your photos stored longer. It's a great benefit!

Yep it worked just like Memory maker (other than how others stated, the pics stay on your account longer!)

Just upgraded to an AP on Fri. My expiration date should have been 6/12/17, but they put it as 6/17/17. I argued with them a bit, because a I was worried about the pics from the first 5 days of our trip. They assured me it would not be a problem. Well, lo and behold, not only did the pics from June 12 and onward show up, but the pics from our Dec. trip showed up! Big surprise to me! Not entirely pleasant as there were well over 1500 photos still on my acct. from that trip, and most of the same people went on this trip, but I'm sure that would be great for a lot of people!
