I am trying to decide if it is worth it for me to buy AP for the family. Can you park hop with an annual pass? (not a premium pass) Thanks for your help!

Yes. All 4 parks. Premium gives you water parks, quest, etc. Go to allearsnet.com-it rocks for information. :cool1:

AP's are great. So nice to stop by a park for a quick 30 minutes if you want to.

thanks for your responses. It is so hard to compare AP with MYW with dining. I have MYW with dining booked at the Poly 11/30-12/11 with AAA discount, 2A & 2C. We have 7 character meals planned. I am pretty sure we will go next year Sept/Oct for MNSSHP, probably 10 nights. We can get a military discount on the AP. AP is cheaper than MYW tickets, cheaper hotel if you get a code, but not so sure about the dining -- we definitely like to do a lot of character meals. Any thoughts?

We used DDP last summer and are using it this summer. It was great. If you do alot of character breakfasts (which run between $19-$21) dollars it may be better to pay OOP. Your cost for an adult on the DDP is appr. $38 a day. If you think you will spend more than $17 for the CS and S credits-then it is a good idea to get DDP. If you do character dinners (we do several) then get it. Those meals typically run ($26-$29). Getting more bang for the buck. :thumbsup2

Obviously, trying to calculate out each meal will drive you mad. The DDP is definitely a savings if you like to eat on property. I recommend scheduling a few meals in Epcot World Showcase. I believe many of those properties are not going to be on the 2007 plan. Happy planning!!!!

we usually get our Ap;s and try to figure out visits as many as we can. We got another AP in April and did 11 days, we are going for 5 days in December and probably again in April for approximately 11 days. We didnt do the dining plan but we have DDE card which costs 60 dollars and we saved alot of money for all of our meals.
One day we hopped thru all 4 parks. IT was fun to try to do as much as we could that day

I agree with Eljay. Sounds like you're the perfect candidate for the DDE (Disney Dining Experience) rather than the DDP.

You'd save 20% on your character meals AND get to have your savings on the AP.
