Annual Pass and Hotel Reservations

Hello--- I have been browsing and have learned so much!!!
but,,, still can not figure out somethings---
sorry if there was a thread on this topic, but I could not find it....

I currently live in London, and as I love Disney so much I think that I will be going more than twice a year, so am planning to buy an annual pass.

and since I am going to the resort in May, I want to make reseravtions using the annual pass discount.

does this mean that I need to buy the annual pass somehow in France and then make reservations for the hotel having the pass in hand?
is there a phone number for annual pass holders to make reservations?


this weekend, I am going to France. but not Paris,
so thought I might go to a Disneystore and buy an annual pass,,
will that be the best solution?

or---- or are there any travel agents in London that can sell annual passes?

I can't really answer your questions, but I was just there and can relate my experience.

I bought an annual pass because it was about the same price as the multi-day ticket I was planning to buy, and a lot of discounts came with the AP.

They gave me a receipt and a single entry ticket. I then had to take these to the annual pass processing center inside Disneyland Park to get my official AP, with picture etc. They wanted to see my passport, but I had left it at the hotel. They apparently are not supposed to process th AP without it, but they did me a favor and did it anyway. Don't know if that part would be any different for someone living in an EU country or not.

If you are considering buying an annual passport then there is a sponsor thread where you would get 10% discount and the sponsor gets free months added. You can find it here.

now I know how to buy the AP, and how to get Sponsership,,
but,,,I can not still work out the discount.

can I make reservations as an AP holder and receive the discount for the hotel if I don`t have it yet????

or,, I guess the first visit you can not have a discount on hotels????

I seem to remember that someone hereabouts spoke to a helpful person in France, who said they would sell them an AP over the phone a month or so before their trip, so that they could get a membership number in order to book a hotel with discount.

I've trawled through (search isn't working) but can't find the post - perhaps you could phone the AP office and asked them? That's what this poster did.

If you get an answer then perhaps you could add it to the AP thread?

Hello,,,

I tried calling the UK disney travel agent (I don`t really know the exact name)
they made me call several phone numbers,, and didn`t really help me...

the last person I talked to told me to call the number in France.

she said that I should make reservations when I purchase the AP....

which I haven`t done yet...
so far,,, I guess there is no way to buy AP in UK unless you send the application ---
since it takes so long and it is in French, I couldn`t take the risk,,,

The person I mentioned did just that - called the AP office and spoke to someone who spoke English. He said that if they called back about a month before they went (I think it was) then he would sell them an AP over the phone.

I think it would be worth giving them a call if there is a big discount to be had!
