Annual pass and hotel discount question

I am planning trip for family of 5 for 4 nights in early October, will be driving and probably staying at RPR, In the past purchased 1 season pass for the multiple discounts 30% on room, 10 % on food and so on, noticed it also offers free self parking since I have never driven I was wondering if anyone knew if that was for resort parking? I noticed they charge $17 dollars a day was hoping to offset that and trying to justify purchasing one annual pass, I believe I can also get 15% off the other multi day tickets I need for the rest of the family.

Free parking is for the theme park parking garages. You will pay $17 plus tax for self parking and $24 plus tax for valet for each night you spend at the onsite hotels.
