Annual pass and hotel discount question

I have booked a 3 night stay at HRH and understand that with a annual pass I can upgrade to a better view room at cheaper rate, which I have already done. I still have not purchased by passes yet since we will only use the passes once do I need to buy 2 annual passes or just one for the discount and 1 regular 3 day pass since we get front of the access with the room key anyway.

Just 1 aph (prefered or premier) is needed for the room discount.
Then you can buy a muiti day ticket for what ever you need.( at the aph discount of course)
