Annual Pass and Free Dining

Hello all-I tried looking but I couldn't find out exactly what I wanted to do. I have annual passes but I currently have reservations in November with free dining. Since I already have annual passes, I want to use those over the park hopper tickets that I bought. When I go to the park on the first day, does my magic band automatically go to my annual pass first or is there a way that I can do it so that I remove the park hopper tickets from My Disney until after my annual passes expire?

Your Magic Band won't automatically choose the AP. You need to go to Guest Relations outside a park or at DTD before you enter a park and have your tickets prioritized. You could also have GR remove the hopper tickets from MDE and put them on plastic cards to be used on a future visit.

Can I buy tix (during the next free dining promo) and have that amount applied to my annual pass renewal?

I read that you could but I haven't tried it myself.
