Annual Pass and EP question

I have an annual pass that I haven't activated yet. I am going down July 11 and will likely be there again on Thursday, July 16 and Sunday July 19. How do I add an express pass on an annual pass in advance? Or do I have to wait to go?

I don't think it's something you add to your AP. It is a separate purchase and will have a separate ticket. You can buy them now or when you are in the park. Be careful, they are date specific. If you buy it before you go to the parks and miss the day its for, you are out of luck.

anyone can buy an express pass in advance online or in person at guest services and in the stores inside the parks.

the ep is date and park related.

like pcstang said, you can't add on the ep to your ap.
they are two different things.

the ap is your ticket to get into the parks.
the ep is a way to cut the waits for rides and lines in the parks.
