Annual Pass activation

My husband and I own DVC and are about to purchase annual passes for myself and daughter for an upcoming girls trip. He is the member and I am an associate (we have the paperwork in to change it to both of us as members, but it takes a WHILE). He is not going to be there to show his ID at the time we need to activate them. If I bring his member card and I guess a copy of his ID, will we have a problem?

He should call MS first as they can add a note in the system to authorize the transaction. They will tell him what you need to bring with you.

That is what I thought, it just makes me nervous! I don't like to leave anything to chance or risk them turning us away! I was wondering if anyone else has done this without issue.

If you DD is 18 or over, she will need a photo ID that shows the same address as your DH, you will also.

If it's a DVC discounted annual pass, you need to show the physical blue DVC membership card (virtual resale membership cards don't count), along with photo ID. I would phone Guest services and ask if you can activate these without the member present.

I don't know why the digital card for couldn't be used (except resale after 4/2016). They mainly need it to take your member number off the card and key it into their system. That will determine eligibility. One time I was buying a MVMCP ticket and the cm kept typing in the number wrong and it wouldn't accept it! Finally got it in.
