Annual Pass activation question:

I purchased AP's for my family, and plan on activating them once we get to Disney. We are staying the first night at one of the Downtown Disney neighboring hotels, hanging around Disney Springs (not used to that yet), and then spending the remainder of our week at a Moderate resort on property. I received an Annual Pass-holder rate for that part of our stay.

Question: Is there anywhere I can activate the Annual Passes at Downtown Disney, so I can already have them activated when I check in on property the next day?

I've tried searching though the threads and stickies, but i guess I'm not effective with that...

Yes, the one at downtown Disney by Ghirardelli I believe it is, is just as good as any guest relations at the parks. This is where we went to buy our annual passes. Generally pretty short lines at well

Correct. Just to clarify, the one in Marketplace is between Ghirardelli and what used to be Team Mickey (I forget what's its called now, but its a collection of small shops)

I would definitely recommend activating your AP's there, although they become active that day, not the first day you'll use them, which sounds like it would be the following day. Not a big deal unless you're planning on visiting the same time next year. Also, you could check into your Disney hotel with AP rates before you activate them...you might just need to go back and verify activation during your stay.
