Annual Pass 13 mo expiration

I read in the budget forum that WDW is offering 13 mo Annual passes when purchased by Jan 1, 2017. Does this apply for DVC members? I can't find anything about a 13 mo expiration for DVC members.

And for those of you wondering - even if you bought before Oct 2, if you activate now it is for 13 months. The release said bought between Oct 2- Jan 3, so I wasn't expecting that.
I activated mine at MK, my husband's was done at AK - both 13 months.

Great! We are going in December now and I plan to upgrade my 5 day ticket to an AP, and if we can get 13 months it would be awesome because it will cover our 2017 December or 2018 January trip that we are still figuring out! Yeah!!!

The voucher is good forever but Disney has said you only get the extra month if you redeem it within 18 months of the promotion beginning (10/1).

Thanks for that info. I've been wondering this too. I looked at all the fine print and couldn't find anything in writing. However, did you find this out? I know it generally takes awhile for Disney to sort it all out when a promotion begins. Now we play Russian roulette waiting to see when the next AP increase occurs. I've told my daughter she needs to buy before January 2017, but warned her there may also be an increase if the past repeats itself as it often does.

When was the last time Disney raised the prices on APs? Did it occur near the end of the year?

During the renewal window, you can upgrade/downgrade to any level of annual pass you are entitled to and keep the renewal savings.

I bought 4 Gold passes today to get the 13 month pass that I plan to activate in August. When I told this to the Member service rep , she told me I had to activate within 50 days. I told her I would not buy it if that was the case because that is not what I've been reading on all the Disney sites. ( I planned on calling the next day and trying it again with a different member rep) . She asked if she could put me on hold and check again on the activation policy so I waited for her to check. When she came back she told me I could buy it today and activate in August to start the 13 month window.

We just bought new Premier Passes because the promo is working on that pass too. That tipped he scales for us. We weren't going to get them this year because they raised the price $400 last year but since this will

Yes, I just did that this morning. The CM pointed out that I was getting 13 months. Like you, I'd bought it before 10/2, activated it today at the Epcot IG.

Will DVC MS take Disney gift cards for payment towards the Annual Passes? I'm planning to buy Dgc at Target to get the 5% savings. I know to group my Dgc cause there is a max number of Dgc that can be used. Or do I order through the regular WDW 407#?
