Can I get the annual pass dvc price added to my room cards? I was hoping to have one less thing to keep track of during our trip and thought when we came back later in the year it would be in the system and they could add it in my room key then as well. Thoughts?

Our friends had an AP on our trip last year and were not able to put them on the room key. We bought ours from undercover tourist. Because they expire 14 days after first use, we were able to put them on our room keys.

Apparently now you can get your AP (DVC or otherwise) on KTTW card stock and you can get it at the resort. Whether that's on the same KTTW card as your room card, I cannot remember what people have said. This is relatively new - in the last year. Prior to that, resorts could not do this. Personally, I would not want my AP on a KTTW card - I'd probably get too confused since you then have to keep that card for the whole year. And next trip, you would still have that card with the AP on it and a new card. I think you also have to keep pointing out to CMs that it is actually an AP when using it for discounts, since it doesn't look like what they are used to.

No, they will not combine an AP on an actual KTTW (room key) card. I think this was a matter of policy as opposed to technology, as I've heard about them doing it in the past but at least 5+ years ago.

APs purchased at a resort (something relatively new) will be printed on KTTW card stock, but that's because that's all they have at the resorts. It will have different print on the front reflecting what it is.

As a separate FYI, the resorts cannot handle AP renewals or voucher activations at this time - only new purchases. Anything else needs to be done at the ticket booths/guest relations.

Very true. We got new AP's at BWV in November on the KTTW card and very few CM's recognized it as an AP - we had to argue with some of them, even though it said it was an AP on the front of the card.

Kinda makes it not worth it getting it at the resort, and instead taking the few minutes extra to get it at the booths...

Yup, I will wait a year or so til it catches on. No reason to argue on vacation with a CM
