Annual Dues Info Posted

Here's to hoping you pass ROFR. may the magic be with you!

Thanks, but I doubt it’ll make it through…we’re only paying $70pp, so based on what I’ve seen in the ROFR thread and from what the broker told me, they been taking most OKW up to around $75pp. With the massive jump in OKW dues, I won’t be heartbroken if they take it. I have a BRV also just sent to ROFR that I’m more confident about and the dues are a bit less painful.

Yea, OKW has some crazy dues though I shouldn't say much, Riviera and GF will be in that boat eventually.

What is crazy to me is the Vero Beach dues. For the cost of the MFs for the points it takes for week in the summer it costs the same or more that a nice beachfront hotel. Of course it isn't Disney but dam the only way you are getting close to "breakeven" is that you HAVE to use your VB points at VB.

Yeah, it may be almost time to say goodbye to OKW which I purchased back in 1992. Not a value now that we're both retired (DH just the month) and we won't be going 2x a year. Money will be tight from 2025 on. I vowed once it got over $200 a month that was when the writing was on the wall. I have to draw the line somewhere but I was hoping for at least one more year until it hit >$200.

I have membership at BWV and CCV, and was looking through the budgets for both of them. As BWV has approx. double the number of vacation homes than CCV, I can understand why the CCV costs/pt are higher, eg annual audit.

However the Admin & Front Desk is $0.95 for BWV, and $0.64 for CCV - why is boardwalk so much more?
BVW has a sales tax on Support Facilities which is not present on the CCV budget.

What does Member Activites cover? How is this related to the membership extras that I thought would be covered by DVD?

My understanding is that the member actives incorporate the cost to run the community halls.

Those are not referring to anything to do with membership extras.

“Cost of recreation operations, certain Member activities and events at the Resort.
Cost of quarterly Member newsletter, annual Association meetings and printing and postage for
Association legal mailings.”

Includes Community halls, pool parties, movies on the lawn, marshmallow roasting, public games & sporting equipment and similar items.

I would support slightly higher dues to increase the number of offerings they do that fit into this category... especially at Vero Beach and Old Key West.... despite their already high dues.

We love the community hall, pool parties, movies on the lawn and marshmallow roasting so happy to pay extra for that….

If paying via BillPay from my bank, can I write one check or does each contract need its own payment?

Annual Dues - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it possible to roll up all my Disney Vacation Club Contracts so I can make one bulk payment of Annual Dues?
A. Yes. When making a one-time Annual Dues payment, you can choose to pay all the Annual Dues currently owed under your Membership Number. This means that all of your Contracts are "rolled up" into one bulk payment that you can make at once.

To do this, visit the Dues payment page and select "Pay Full Statement Balance".

Do the dues numbers include any tax forgiveness from last year? I'm trying to figure out exactly what I owe for RR so I can order gift cards.

If the actual property taxes were less per point than the estimate, the overpayment will be deducted from the amount due.
