Annual Dues increase

Just going through the 2010 annual dues here and I noticed a 16.8% increase from 2009. We own at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas. Just outta curiousity how do the other resorts compare. I think we are approx. $4.97/point for 2010. Thanks in advance.

According to what has been posted, AKV went from 4.8554 to 4.9496, an under 2% increase.

I think you must have your maths wrong somehow as the dues increase this year is quite modest, around 2% as the PP said.

If you bought during '09, you only paid a prorated amount of dues. That may be why your total seems so much more for '10.

As I recall, AKV had one of the lowest, if not the lowest increase among all of the resorts.

Okay thank you for all you replies, you have made me feel a little better about all this! Last years annual dues were either prorated or pehaps like this year there was a tax adjustment. I guess per point it really isn't much of an increase... And I really appreciate how AKV rated vs the other resorts. By the backwards way I looked the first time, it seemed like alot. Now I feel much better. Thought I had found a cure for my addonitis! OKay probably not....
