Annual Dues come out on 15th now?

Just curious if this is for everyone: my dues used to direct debit on the 1st, now my new statement says the 15th. Is that a change or an error? Not a big deal, I just like to know when money is coming out.

Typically the first dues payment of the new year is on the 15th. After that it will revert to the 1st. At least that's what has happened for the past several years.

My statement says the 15th of every month too, not just January. I'm usually the 1st too.

You can choose either the beginning or middle of the month for monthly withdrawal (I have both with two different use years). The first withdrawal of the year in Jan is always in the middle of the month. I am not sure what you are looking at on your statement What you might be looking at is the Payment Due date which is Jan 15. That is reference to the due date for the entire year's dues if you don't have automatic withdrawal from your account. Officially, everyone's dues are due on that date but your separate agreement for monthly witdrawals means you pay in installments over the year. There is a separate section at the bottom that shows when monthly payments are due. If yours says the fifteenth for every month then somehow yours got changed and you might call MS accounting to inquire.

Ours have always come out on the 1st...but noticed this month, the dues have yet to be taken out. . My memory is horrible...maybe this has happened before and I just don't remember it. Either way, the money is there when they are ready to take it.

Ours have always came out on the 15th since 2010 and our actual payment comes out on the first.

Being new to DVC I just went through setting this up and was told my payments will all come out on the 15th of the month.

I called MS and double checked when mine was due.
MS stated that when you first start your contract you are asked by your Guide which date (1ts or 15 of every month)to debit your dues from your account, after the Jan 15th debit.
I had mine done on the 15th of every month.

I got my printed statement in the mail today and it correctly shows 1/15, then 2/1, 3/1, etc. Online still reads 1/15, 2/15, 3/15, etc.

since I purchased in 2003 I have had the 15th of the month. I believe I told them that back when I purchased. They ake out my loan payment and my dues payment. One more month and it will only be my dues payment

MS can change it to the 1st or 15th as well. Ours were previously on the 1st but called several months ago and they changed it to the 15th rather easily.
