Some love to complain, some love misery, and misery loves company!!! What a pleasure to hear that your trip was great. Our family's trips have been like that, too -
Having lived in New York City for over four decades, I know what it's like when too many people are shoved together in too little space.
It definitely helps to have a sense of humor about things. Also, it helps to remember that, unless you have an ADR, you really don't have to be any place that soon. (This from someone who has at least one ADR for every day he is there.)
For us, it just wouldn't be a trip to WDW without someone inevitably shoving in front of us two minutes before the parade starts. This is probably my #1 pet peeve about WDW, but I don't let it bother me much -after all it IS Disney World
I was so nervous about our first trip last year, and I kept thinking I was going to encounter all these horrible nasty people. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that everyone behaved wonderfully.
Hey I'm right there with you, next week . Our family walks around WDW like we've been drenched by a fire hose; we just try to keep the "stinky" factor to a minimum. I guess the smell of the inside of the monorail at 5pm in July is part of the Disney magic
Oh yes we did We did EVERYTHING there was to do at MK - there were only THREE things in the whole park we did do (Stitch, train, and the treehouse). So we spent quite a bit of time in the rest of the world.
As for a few others mentioned - only ONCE did I see a family refuse to move down in a row - which was silly since it was 3D LOL
And well the body odor - yea, that was there - can't win em all!
I'm glad to hear that you had such a great time. I had decided that our family must live in our own private la-la land, because we just can't seem to remember anything negative worth mentioning on our trips. I think that we are just so happy to be there that we don't even notice the bad stuff. I have to confess that I have accidentally caught the heels of the person in front of me with a stroller. I made sure to apologize profusely though. I think that the majority of people we encounter at Disney are polite and aware of others. I'm glad that you had the same experience.
I'm so glad to hear that! It's funny I was just thinking the same thing about when we went last week I had experienced some of the things you listed on previous trips but I had no complaints this time around I mean there were a couple of things but nothing that really made an impact on our trip. The only thing I found to be a trend were the scooters, I saw a lot of people that were taking advantage of them. It was almost funny when you'd see somebody park it and then run to the front of the line they could have at least limped or something infact some of the people with them were probably in better shape then me
