Annoyed making ADRs today.

So today is a holiday, and I woke up at 6am to make my 180 day reservations. I call, get thru at 6:02, wanted to make Cinderella breakfast reservations, the CM told me that I was a day early. I thought about it, knew I was not early, called back, another CM told me the same thing. So I went back to sleep. 2 hrs later wake up and call, and what do you know, I can make ADRs. BOTH CMs had the wrong information. I got all the ADRs I wanted, except Cinderella breakfast. I'm going to try to call back on the 180 day mark from the day I want to go, but still. Oh, well. I booked Akershus instead for now...is that good? DDs have been to the castle, so maybe it would be good to try something new anyway. We'll see.

Agree, a change may be good anyway. Then you can see which they prefer and what works best.
This may have best in the long run.

We did the Castle and Norway a few weeks ago for lunch with DD 5. She liked Norway better, but I think it's because Ariel and Jasmine were there! I liked the Castle better!

Hi! Is it the actual 180 day mark from when you want to eat at Cinderella's breakfast or did you call from your resort check in date to do the 180 plus 10? When I called to do the 180 plus 10, Cindy's breakfast wasn't available for the day I wanted either. They do keep most tables for the actual 180 day mark. Maybe try again tomorrow and something will open up. I'll send some pixie dust your way!

I had the same experience with Cindy's. For some reason you have to call exactly 180 days out, not 180 + 10. Call from your 180 day mark and you should be able to get a ressie. Good luck!

We've done Norway 3 times now . Twice for breakfast and once last year for lunch. We haven't done Cindy's yet. Mostly because I don't want to get up at 4 a.m. to make ADR. We like Norway. Last year we had late lunch ADR and it was great! We were the last group to check-in for lunch (in fact even though we were 20 min. early, they knew our names when we came up since we were the only ones who hadn't gone in yet. ) What was nice about the timing was the rooms were mostly empty-less noise and less crowds. Even so, the princesses only made one circuit. We saw Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora. My DD6 likes this one. We've also done Park Faire at GF. I like this one! The food is excellent. There is only one princess, Cindy and the prince and the 2 mice. If your DD wants to see Cinderella in particular I would try PF-we are going back this September and skipping Norway this time. I didn't feel as rushed at PF as I do at Norway.

We too had done the castle before we had done Norway and DD liked it better. This has been a few years back before they had character lunch and dinner. DD said she liked eating in the castle but she liked the characters at Norway better. She got to see Mulan who is her favorite but she always liked Ariel, Jasmine, Mulan better than the princesses.
