Hey I was pretty good at Bio when I took it...it's been 2 years but I still have all my notes and everything so you can IM me if ya need help. My screen name is Norah022.

MickeyMouse418, I took AP World last year. My teacher was pretty good tho and i got a 4 on the test, but this year for AP U.S. history my teacher is an idiot and didnt prepare us very well. My advice would be to go to a bookstore and pick up an AP World history study guide. They sell them for all AP subjects. IT will help you with key information and give you practice questions that are on the exam. You also want to practice writing the DBQ's. Just try and include a lot of key information that the question asks. The people who read your essays spend like a minute on each one so you want to get right to the facts and show them you know what you're talking about. Dont worry about making it long. just get right the point and show them you know what you're talking about. if u review on your own then you should do alright.

and remember, when you write the DBQ, don't write english essays i.e. colorful language with what my US History called 'fluff'. They just want the facts.

by the way good luck to everyone with finals and other tests if you havent finished them yet!!! i have one more week of cramming left!!!!

Im taking a Geometry class for the summer (its required for me to graduate and I don't have room for it during the school year) and im trying to figure out how to do proofs... I have to teach them to myself!!! I have a test monday... can anyone help??? this is some evil stuff.. Deductive reasoning is for the birds.

all proofs are are you explaining the steps you took to solve the problem. It's a bummer if you have to cite the specific theorem.

are you talking about like coordinate geometry proffs? cuz if so, im really good at those and can help

well in all actuality im not even sure.... im sooo mathematically chalenged. We are given an angle or line segment and a statement like ab = bc ... and then Ill have to prove why ab = bc by using theorems and postulates and definitions and so on untill i fully prove it somehow. I think each step you take to solve it leads to another postulate, theorem, or definition untill you can;t prove anything else and you end up with ab = bc or what you were suppose to prove. the only thing is you have to be able to recognise which postulate etc. you ned to use... which is a nightmare!

oh ok those or euclidean geometry proofs...they are actually pretty easy once you start becoming familiar with the axiums and theorems. i had trouble with them at first, but now they are very simple. im really good at them so u can pm or im me at bubblicious418
