Announcement today??

Does anyone know what the big 'announcement' today at 1pm is all about. I have to admit that I will probably get to my computer to see what it is (work can wait a few minutes).

Maybe it is the Pirate resort!
(I think that threat is on the resort postings)

I am listening to my Disney Podcast (inside the magic) and they mentioned that Disney is releasing some 'concept art' that sounds like sketches of concept rides and attractions. I wonder if that is the announcement.

I'm pretty sure today was the first day that someone will get to stay in Cinderella castle. Maybe it is the official YOMD kickoff announcement with that winner.

Could the cowntdown be for when the actual press event starts? That doesn't really make much sense, but I'm sure the press event will start a couple of hours before the official annoucement is released in the news.
But, if we find out in 1.5 hours that will be even better. I am leaving the countdown up to see what happens when it gets to zero.

I heard in the paper today that the first family who gets to stay in the Castle is from Dewitt Michigan ! Not far from where I live! Thats so cool!

Yeah, 10:00am PST is 1:00pm EST. I am in Cali so I plan to be online at 10:00am to find out what is going on.
