DH and I will be celebrating an anniversary while we are at WDW. Do any of the restaurants/hotels do any little extras or does everything come with an extra charge?

Thanks!

When you make a PS be sure to ask the CM to note that this is your anniversary trip. There will be no extra charge for anything the restaurant may do, but don't be super disapointed if they don't do anything. From what I have read on these boards these things slip thru the cracks quite often.
If it doesn't slip thru the cracks you may find some pixie dust [multi colored glitter] on the table or you may get a special anniverary desert.

When are you going to there. DW & I will be celebrating our 31st at LeCellier on 5/18.

Isn't there a place that does a little "rehitching" ceremony. not like a real vow renewal, just a funny little embarrasing kind of thing? I know that I read about it somewhere but I don't remember where. I'm sorry, but someone should know. If I find it, I'll post it!

Ok nevermind, It was the Garden grille in EPCOT. But I just read that is was discontinued as of Sept 2004.

We will be going in December for our 5th anniversary and our 1st family vacation with our twins.

When DH and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in 2001 a couple of nice things happened. :goodvibes At the Hoop Dee Doo, we received the "honeymooners table" and were front and center stage! THAT WAS AWESOME!! :cool1: When I went to visit Disneyquest while DH was in the Virgin MegaRecordStore, I casually mentioned DH and I celebrating our anniversary and the young lady behind the counter made me a nice little card in a frame that said HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! THAT WAS VERY NICE ALSO!! :teeth: I didn't expect anything special really, but the surprises were very nice.

We just returned from a trip celebrating my in-law's 50th anniversary. I pre-ordered a cake from 1900 Park Fare in the GF for our dinner there, and they gave them the royal treatment! I also mentioned it to the CM taking PS reservations, asking who to order the cake from, and I think that he put it on the system. They had balloons, chocolates and a signed card from the WL the first evening there.

When you call, mention that you want to do something special for your spouse for your anniversary while you're there, and see what they mention. It doesn't hurt to ask!
