Hi, I've been reading these posts for weeks and have learned so much from them. We will be in WDW in Oct. for our anniversary and want to stay in the Epcot area. I am leaning toward the BC. I'm wondering if I should book the room now with a AAA discount and hope that an AP discount comes out(I have an AP pass) or book someplace else as I would like to pay close to $200 a noc. If an AP discount comes out can I switch my ressies to another resort if there is none available at BC. Thanks for your help.

Hi eeyorina and welcome to the Dis!
I'm thinking you'll pay around $250ish with taxes at the BC with a standard view and an AP discount (if available) in October. Someone else is sure to come along who knows last year's AP rate better than I, however.
Sure you can book with a AAA discount, and switch over if/when AP rates come out. As long as there are discounted rooms available, then you can convert your reservation. You can also change your reservation from one resort to another. Again, that is assuming that AP rates are available.
Good luck to you! :D

Thanks dandave for your reply. Could anyone suggest an alternative resort to BC for an anniversary trip. We have stayed at CBR, Dixie Landings and Poly with the kids. Even though our first choice would be the epcot area I'd be willing to try someplace else if I can get a room near $200 with a discount. Thanks
