So, we had another successful trip for our wedding anniversary, this year being 31st. Had the same room at OKW as last year, a nice first floor 1br on a quiet cul-de-sac. Relatively noise free as far as neighbors go. We were there from 7-14 May and had great weather. The only rain was a deluge on Saturday while at Animal Kingdom, but since we were inside the Nemo show theater at the time, no worries. Crowds weren't too bad except on Sunday at Epcot. Some pretty long lines. A lot of Floridians must have decided to come for the day. Got our first ride on the new Test track. The 'design your own car' was sort of a 'so what' but i liked the way the interior parts of the ride seem to be more high speed.

Highlights of the trip included VIP seating for Indiana Jones stunt show, some freebie desserts to include some grey stuff at Be Our Guest resturant, and yes it was delicious, as well as at Mangino's Italian resturant at Shades of Green. The little orange badge does help. Also made a few good pin trades and managed to come home healthy. Last year i came home with severe bronchitis, URI, and sinus infection, (Shoulda used more Purell i guess).

We also got our favorite server at Primetime resturant at HS, Mark. Always a fun time there. Teppen Edo was a lot of fun too. Had a family sitting with us that included three adopted Korean children. The parents 'warned' us about them being a little rambunctious. Turned out they were good as gold, it was Dad who was the loud one, but in a good natured way. I left the inter group interfacing to the DW, she's good at that, world class in fact.

Things were even good on the shopping front. We didn't do much buying at all and came home with only one extra carry on then when we left.

Had a ninety minute delay at Orlando airport thanks to conditions at Newark Liberty. One of the added joys of living in NJ. Someone sneezes funny and they divert the landing pattern and slow everything down. Other than that an excellent trip.

So now it's anticipation time for our October trip, which the DW decided should be a road trip. :crazy2: Three adults in a Jeep Grand Cherokee for 18-20 hours to join up with about two dozen relatives and ancillaries. Should i just say, shoot me now?
