Anniversary Surprise?

My parents are going to be celebrating their anniversary while we are together at Disney next week. Does anybody have any ideas how my brother and I (and Disney!) can make the day special for them?

Make sure to get them an anniversary pin to wear for the day! Also an option would be to order them a cake, check out the cake chatter thread for tons of info and ideas!

I would second those suggestions ^. We love spending our anniversary in Disney (8th, 9th, 10th, 12th have been spent there so far ) - make sure they wear the pins and everyone will tell them Happy Anniversary.

Not sure what your budget is, but what about a fireworks cruise? I would love that, but I doubt it will ever be in our budget.

You can get them a horse & buggy ride. We did it last year and it's not very expensive. They offer the horse & buggy ride at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I think they offer it at one of the other resorts as well, but I'm not sure which one. We called before our trip and got a reservation for it.

As a Christmas present we made our parents a reservation at the Flying Fish. They loved the meal (actually said it was the nicest meal they ever had), but also the time away from us to have by themselves. I would get them a reservation at a signature restaurant and a gift card to pay for the meal. (Or they could just charge it to the room.)

In the restaurants forum, there is an entire thread that talks about how to order a custom cake. You can arrange to have it sent to a restaurant that you have a reservation at or have it sent to your room if you are staying on site. I'm addicted to Disney cakes

Years ago for our parents anniversary we ordered flowers through the disney florist and had them delivered to their room.

Another vote here for a Fireworks cruise.

We took an Illuminations Celebration (the boat was decorated with balloons, banner, etc) Cruise on my DD's 13th bday. It was wonderful! The "Celebration" part was extra $$, but $$ well spent. This was back in 2007...so not sure if Disney still does that.

I'd also pre-ordered a beautiful cake, that was delivered right to our boat, prior to departure. Wonderful!
