If you and your SO have celebrated your anniversary at WDW, please share any and all ideas that you used to make your celebration magical.

DH and I will be there for our 5th in October.

My Dh and I have been in WDW for a few of our anniversaries. What we do is eat at the Castle on the night of our anniversary and then watch the parade on Main Street USA. Its just our way of celebrating....especially when he isn't the biggest Disney fan. But I love him anyway.

DH and I will be there for our 5th in October.

Although we haven't celebrated yet, we're going in April for our 25th and our plans are to eat a nice dinner at Artist Point on the night of our anniversary. We also plan to go to B&C and celebrate with a Kitchen Sink for two on another night. We've already got our Anniversary Buttons (a nice CM gave them to me on a recent solo trip, so we'll be all set). The other thing is that we already got an anniversary pearl ring at the pick-a-pearl stand at the BC on our last trip (I was too anxious to wait the full 25 years). DH picked the pearl and I picked the setting. I had to wait 24 hours for the setting to be ready to wear, at which time he presented it to me at dinner.

We go down to WDW to celebrate our anniversary every October. We find the trip itself is our "anniversary magic" as we consider it our anniversary gift to ourselves. As for special things we do while there, we'll usually book a nice dinner at one of the Disney restaurants (we like to try a different one each year) and the missus usually ends up coming home with a new (and usually quite expensive) piece of Disney jewellery.

My DH and I are taking are going to be in WDW for our anniversary in Sept., it will be 20 years. Our plan is to eat dinner in the castle, per my dh's request. We have done some of the nicer restaurants at Disney but my dh really likes the idea of eating in the castle. I'm not sure what we will do to follow dinner but it won't matter because we will be in Disney afterall.

My parents are going for their 30th in April, and me and DH for our first in Dec. and we are both doing narcoossees (So good!) one night and hanging in teh GF lobby and listening to the orchestra and piano I may even surprise DH with a cake at a meal, or something special in our room like chocolate covered strawberries or something from disney florist. may even do a carraige ride. IF you have the extra money, I say do a wishes or illuminations cruise. I would love to do one someday! hope this helps someone!

There's a book called 101 nights of grrreat romance by laura corn. It's kind of a workbook of sorts. The little "packets" are sealed off (for his eyes only/for her eyes only) and it gives you a LOT of really great things to do for each other you may not have thought of on your own. The pages basically give you a "recipe" of what you need and the idea of what to do. Dh & I have that book along with the book that goes along with it. There are so many pages I've done out of the Romance book that I thought would be awesome to do at WDW and twist a little to include that Disney Magic. Yall could take turns through out the week doing things for each other and have some fun.

Dh and I are going in December with our family and staying off-propery. We are planning a night out for just us (leaving the little ones with Grandma) to celebrate our 10th anniversary. In addition to trying to catch Wishes (his first time!!) we've tossed around four ideas:

1- Carriage ride through FW then dinner at CG during Wishes
2- Couples massage at GF
3- Spend the night at the GF or Poly with a view of MK
4- Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau

I've been reading A LOT of reviews on all of those and I still can't decide what we should do. We're leaning toward #4, but I don't know that a dinner show would be very intimate. Also, dh is not a disneyholic and I'm hoping to do something with him that will spark the magic and make something say "hey, we should do this more often!!"

We may be going for a little 2 day trip in December for our 8th anniversary. During December, Epcot has some great Christmas celebrations. We will probably do the Candlelight Processional package. You "buy" a dinner reservation at the restaurant of your choice and then you have reserved seating for the Candlelight Processional. Allearsnet.com has info on last year's CP.

We are doing a bunch of things in May when we go to celebrate our anniversary. Some of the things we are doing are:

~ Illuminations Fireworks Cruise
~ V & A dinner
~ Lots of other fancy schmancy bring on the martinis but not the suit jacket dress code type dinners

My DH and I love the Outback restaurant at the Buena vista palace, right across from DTD. Its a very upscale place not affiliated with the outback steakhouse. Very Romantic! They also have a spa there, so you could spend a romantic day there and then go to DTD/PI!

DH and I went for our 18th Anniversary and had a very romantic dinner at California Grill. Had an awesome view of the MK and the fireworks . . .

It'll be our 20th this October and since it is a "milestone" as DH calls it, I think we will be planning another adult only trip.

We celebrated our first anniversary at Narcoossee's and it was very good.

we are going for our 10th anniversary next week for 2 nights - dinner at Narcoossee's on our anniversary itself and dinner at Roys the other night.


we are going to EPCOT both days and I'd like to do half the WS on one day and half the other - be really leisurely - go in to every shop, have a drink and a snack at each country, etc. - stuff we can't do with the kidlets LOL

Our 25th Anniversary is just a couple of days after we get back from WDW. (It just worked out that way with Spring Break timing.) If you get the buttons, do you wear them the entire trip? And should I call the resort ahead of time to mention it? Also, should I have them put something on our ADRs about it, or just mention it when we get there?
