My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary on September 27, and we are trying to figure out where we should have dinner. I would love more than anything to eat at Be Our Guest, but I'm not getting my hopes up on getting a reservation there. So I'm looking for someplace that I will be able to get a reservation now, a little more than two months out.

We will be in Magic Kingdom that day, but I am open to ideas outside of the park (though not in another park, as we will not have park-hoppers.) I've been to Disney World plenty of times, but I have never explored the resorts where I wasn't staying, and I've never planned ahead for food. We've pretty much always just eaten in whatever land we happened to be in when we got hungry.

It is our anniversary, so I'd like something on the nicer side (or at least not counter service...definitely some place that takes reservations) and moderately priced. However, if there's a place I just SHOULD NOT miss, I'd be willing to shell out some extra $$. Unfortunately, my husband is a fairly picky eater. (For instance, there is nothing on the menu at Cinderella's Royal Table that he would eat. :'( Basically, nothing TOO fancy.)

I've looked through all of the restaurants, but there are so many that it's overwhelming, so I'm hoping you guys can help!

I hope you can get Be our Guest for your anniversary. But if you can't, O'Hana at the Poly resort is really good with skewers of shrimp, pork, and steak served to your table and it is close to Magic Kingdom. There are a lot of negative reviews right now but it is one of our favorite meals.

We have always liked California Grill, its in the Contemporary and you can watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom there. It does get crowded and a little loud, so if you want something romantic you could always request a table in the wine room / area that is quieter. Its more pricey than BOG I think...

California Grill is nice just for the fireworks but is expensive and probably too nice for your DH! Maybe the Yachtsman, I mean who doesn't like Steak!?

We had our romantic meal at Narcoosees at the Grand Floridian. You can see the fireworks from there as well, and the water electrical parade. Or, you could do your normal routine during the day and cap it off with the Epcot After Hours Wind Down. It's not an extra magic hours night, so it should feel exclusive, intimate and the right touch to finish off a busy day.
Keep trying for the BOG though! I just got one for my hubby's and my day off from the kids!
